What we’re about
Join us for events in the Chicago North Shore area - Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glenview, Northbrook and surrounding towns. (You don't have to live here to participate)
This is a busy, active group, focused on getting out and meeting new friends. What kind of events? Whatever we find that is fun! Concerts, plays, happy hours, dining out.
I do not have to be at every event - if you think of something and would like to make it an event (and you are available to host) just let me know! I will post it! Ideas for new events are always welcome.
And help me find a new cover picture for the group! This was all I could think of that exemplified the North Shore but there has got to be something better!

"Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love and follow your dreams." It is currently rated at 80 on Rotten Tomatoes (see link here. )
We will gather at the Landmark Cinema at The Glen. Here is what you need to do:
1. Go to Landmark Theaters at the Glen showtimes
2. Select Song Sung Blue on Saturday December 27
3. Select the showing at 4:40 pm.
4. I am in seat D6 - please select a seat near me, maybe in front of me (if you don't see seat D6 as occupied, you might have the wrong showing)
5. Pay for your ticket - senior ticket is $16 including fees, others are $18.50.
6. Please buy tickets soon! This will be a popular movie and a popular showtime - and we don't want non-group members in our row/section! And for whatever reason they put that movie in a small theater.

8. Guests/+1s are welcome! No limit on attendees
9. We will probably go out to eat after the movie at either Yard House or The Oak. Plan on joining us!5 attendees
