******************
We will be hiking in West Hill County Park, a modified Red Dot and Walt Whitman Trail loop for 4.5 miles, there will be an optional 3.4 mile hike to Jaynes Hill, the highest point on Long Island!! This hike is moderately challenging as the peak is 401 ft and the total trail distance is approx. 8 miles. There are many hills, sand, and loose rock on these trails. Hiking boots or trail runners are needed. Trekking poles would be beneficial.

Mike will be leading this hike. We will meet in the West Hills parking lot on Sweet Hollow Rd. by the Big Dog Run at 920am and depart promptly at 930am.

Unfortunately, there are no dogs with this group. Apologies.
