About the Hike

READ THE DESCRIPTION

The Mosquito Creek Trail is a well-maintained gravel walking path that gently follows the western bank of Mosquito Creek, creating a calm and scenic route for walkers. The trail winds alongside the flowing water, offering a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. Along the route, there are several designated rest areas where visitors can pause, relax, and enjoy beautiful viewpoints overlooking the creek.

As shown, the trail extends from West 17th Street to Palisade Drive. Street parking is typically free and available near the trailhead, making access convenient for visitors. In addition, an alternative parking option can be found just south of Queens Road at the main parking lot shared by Mosquito Creek and William Griffin Park. When starting from this main lot, hikers and walkers will need to enter the trail from a mid-point access rather than the official trailhead.
