Sunday Morning Walk, Wander, Explore and Try Thai Street Food

Details
This is a chance to stroll the Idyllic gardens at the Buddhist Center of Dallas. While this as a lower key, shorter walk than the bulk of our events, it is outdoors and very relaxing and enjoyable.
Every Sunday from 9am to 3pm, the grounds and the Temple opens up to visitors. Just wandering the grounds is great, but also the backside of the Temple fills with more than a dozen food stalls cooking up all sorts of authentic and unique Thai dishes. The booths take cash only!
Everyone is welcoming and excited to share their authentic Thai street foods! Graze on various Thai dishes.
Arrive on time if you want to have a seat.
Parking is on the street and in the neighborhood. Do not be late if you want close parking. There is also a parking lot, but I would only recommend it for an SUV or vehicle with a higher ground clearance.
We will meet out behind the temple in the seating area, have a little food and explore the grounds.
Outdoor Adventure rules are in effect.
Please:
- be courteous and kind to other participants.
- Respect cultural differences.
- Avoid bringing up topics that are likely to cause arguments in a group setting.
- No teasing the monks!
