What we’re about

We’re a community of everyday people who believe small acts create big change.

We support a variety of causes in Jacksonville — hunger relief, animals, environment, seniors, veterans, kindness projects, and more.

No experience needed. Bring your heart, meet new people, and make Jacksonville better together.

Why? Because we CAN make a difference!

Feeding Northeast Florida

What to Expect:

For this Food Sorting/Packing Food Boxes volunteer opportunity, we’ll help inspect and sort through donated dry goods, meat, or produce before they get distributed to our neighbors in need.

We may also help with the Snack Pack program, where we will pack bags of nutritionally dense, delicious, and easy-to-prepare meal options for children in public schools. These are intended to be take-home bags during the weekends and breaks, where they will otherwise be missing the meals provided at school. The type of project is decided on by the needs of the food bank.

Qualifications

Ability to stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time & ability to lift 10-30 pounds.

Attire

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing as the warehouse is not climate controlled. Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes are required.
No crocs, flip-flops or sandals. No loose jewelry or headphones.
Please bring a jacket or sweatshirt for the possibility of bagging produce in the walk-in cooler.
