We need social connections for happiness because human beings are inherently social creatures—our brains and bodies are wired for connection. Somewhere along the line we forgot to put work, family and responsibilities aside and invest in ourselves and the social connections we need. Let's change that! Thirsty Thursday is a weekly happy hour get-together designed to connect us and support local small business.

Bambei Brewing started with a passion for good beer and a conversation on how it was made. Sean Bambei, owner, (and, yes, it's pronounced like the deer) started home brewing with his friend, Paul, around 2014. His passion turned into a dream of owning his own brewery. In 2021, the beer gods laid Sean off from his real job in IT to allow him to pursue his dream. With the support of his family, Wife, and co-owner, Casey and Daughters - Makena, Kailee, and Kamryn, Sean jumped in with both feet. Sean loves all types of beers, but his favorite is a hoppy IPA. He is planning to have an assortment of different beer styles including many different IPAs (double, imperial, and hazys), Amber, Brown, Chocolate Stout, Coffee Porter, Cherry Wheat, Irish Red, American and Mexican Lagers, Pale Ale, and Seltzer (with flavor options).

Times are tough for many families right now and as we head into the holidays, a little help can make a big difference.
Jennifer Dunn and Blaine Grady are coordinating a food drive for The Food Bank of the Rockies. You can bring non-perishable food items to any Thirsty Thursday through the holidays, and Jennifer or Blaine will make sure your donation reaches those who need it most.
Prefer to give online? The Food Bank can stretch dollars even further by buying food in bulk. You can make a tax-deductible donation here: foodbankrockies.org/give/giving-opportunities.
Thank you for helping share some kindness this season.
