NEED A KAYAK: Emigrant Crk, West Ballina

Meet for a 8.00 at the Emigrant Creek Boat Ramp (Emigrant Creek Lane, West Ballina) to complete paperwork and be issued gear. We plan on departing by 8.30.

Come and paddle Emigrant Crk and explore this once vibrant waterway that severed the regions of west Ballina and Alstonville. The plan is travel with the incoming tide, paddling some 5 km before pulling over for a short break and a bite to eat. We then will return with the outgoing tide arriving sometime around 11.30.

Be sure to bring something to nibble on for morning tea.
