NEED A KAYAK: Stotts Island paddle, Tweed River

We will be meeting at the Tumbulgum boat ramp at 8.00am (NSW time) to fill out paperwork and issue you with gear.
Come paddle the majestic waters of the Tweed River, as we make our way down stream to circumnavigate Stotts Island. Mid was we will pull over for morning tea at the Bruce Chick picnic grounds. As there is no cafe there, be sure to bring something to munch on. Afterward we will continue our paddle around the island to pick up the incoming tide and return to the boat ramp. The overall trip is approximately 12 km but as we will be breaking midway, this paddle is suitable for beginners.
Be sure to bring sun block out, a wide brim hat and plenty of water.
NOTE; Always check the notice board for any last-minute changes before leave for a paddle.
