Enjoy great vibes and tasty craft beer at BrewDog's latest bar opening in Melbourne, located at the Pentridge Prison.
Legendary Scottish brewery BrewDog didn't hold back when it came to creating its first Melbourne venue, it unveiled this absolute monster of a brew bar within the historic Pentridge Prison site in November 2022.
From the bars comes a 20-strong tap beer lineup, starring numerous BrewDog drops alongside a rotation of guest brews.
To match, there's a sprawling menu of classic pub fare, featuring an impressive ratio of plant-based and gluten-free options. It jumps from a range of schnitties, parmas, tacos and burgers — including one done with XPA-braised brisket — to pizzas and a whole stack of wing varieties. Grazing plates include the likes of buffalo chicken loaded fries, and haloumi with native pepper berry.

Please only RSVP to an event if you fully intend to show. Pulling out of a dinner or another booked event (with a venue) on the day is a kick in the teeth for both the venue and the organiser. I understand there are instances where this is unavoidable, but you are short changing the venue on the revenue they are reliant upon, especially when it comes to paying their staff. It may be too late to rebook those tables with other patrons. Not to mention the stress this puts the organisers under.
