Keeping up Karl's mid week walks. This one covers two counties, 2 reservoirs, Leeds /Liverpool canal, one of the most haunted houses in Lancashire - alledgedly and a fab cafe!!
Setting off from Alkincoats park Colne - street parking only, we will walk through the park and on to Slipper Hill reservoir. Field and farm tracks and a short bit of road walking bring us down to the Leeds /Liverpool canal for an easy leg stretch back to Fouldrige wharf. From there after a brief walk through the town we reach Foulridge reservoir and then pass Hobstones the haunted house whooo whooo. Will we see any ghosts? From there we return to Alkincoats park via field and footpaths and a well earned brew in the pavilllion cafe. As usual with me - there will be mud!!
