Do you carry around past hurts—or difficult emotions—that continue to affect you and your life, even today? Or do you struggle with negative thought patterns, or recurring behaviour patterns, that you would like to drop or change in positive ways, but which seem be "stuck", leaving you saddled with personal traits that don't serve you but which you just can't shed? Well, this week our Thursday night meeting is dedicated to exploring the key Mindfulness principle of 'Letting Go' – but looking at this as a practical and perfectly doable real life technique, not just some ‘throw away’ phrase or a piece of trite, unhelpful advice.

So, in this Thursday's meeting we'll explore what 'Letting Go' REALLY means. (And the answer might surprise you!) Plus, we'll look in-depth at the mechanics of HOW to actually 'Let Go' – in ways that genuinely work in real life.

With lots of fascinating, insightful and inspiring guidance and teaching from several top experts in the field of mindfulness and meditation, we'll explore together how we can actually make Letting Go work for us as a practical life skill – and we'll look at how this skill (which anyone can learn) can radically change the way live, relate to ourselves and others, and how we conduct ourselves in the world, in ways that can enable us to live a happier and much more fulfilled life.

During the meeting, we'll be looking at some of the scientifically-proven methods that sit at the very heart of mindfulness – techniques that can help us to not only find greater calm and inner-peace, but which also enable us to break free from limiting and painful ways of being that just cause us suffering.

Our selected experts will will share their understanding and expertise with us in short, inspiring videos clips, and local mindfulness teacher Shaun Glossop (our Group Co-Ordinator) will be on-hand to guide us through this topic in a grounded, straightforward, and easy-to-understand way. Plus, of course, we'll join together in several periods of deeply relaxing guided meditation!
