CASTLE DONNINGTON TO DISEWORTH 8 MILE CIRCULAR WALK

Meet around 10:50 for 11:00 Start

A slightly hilly walk with a few stiles and some rough ground.

Heading around the west side of the airport by road and some of the airport trail. Crossing the road into open fields, downhill into Diseworth village.

We take a 30-minute break at the Plough Inn.

Heading down Long Holden track before going uphill and through the service station. Crossing the road and rejoining the airport trail for the last 2.5 miles back to the start point.

PARKING - Looks like street parking only, plane spotters often use the lane where we start. Failing that, it shouldn't be too difficult to find a spot in the nearby housing estate.
