Cheap Nottingham Comedy Festival Special in the Caves at the Whistle & Flute!

In a departure from the Caves' usual comedy night format, they're hosting three separate shows on the same night for Nottingham Comedy Festival. Three rising stars of the circuit – Michael Shafer; Jamie Douglas and Rory Rawson, aka Raw Doug – are performing separate sets. Michal's is pay what you like, and Raw Doug's is only a fiver! Usual blurb:

This unmissable night has been running monthly for years now and has proven to be extremely popular, regularly selling out. It's a great chance to see a mixture of up-and-coming and established acts at a price that won't break the bank. Everyone is friendly and has a good time but it's perfect for new Meetuppers, as it's relaxed and fun without the pressure of having to make small talk all evening. Come on down for your comedy fix in the unique and atmospheric surroundings of a historic sandstone cave!

We'll meet in the ground floor bar area; pink carnations optional. The gig is on the next floor down and doors open there at 7:15. Several rows of seats are usually reserved for Meetuppers to sit together.

Parking: There are spaces on the street outside which charge until 10pm. The nearest free parking is over Canning Circus, eg the top of Cromwell Street, and there may be some on the Ropewalk. Comment with any other tips and I'll add them in future listings!
