Love live music!? Welcome to Nottingham Gig Buddies, a group for likeminded people who like going to gigs! We plan to to see live music across the city, big bands, small bands, rock bands, punk poppers, indie kids, acoustic singers, anything!

Another Australian band, and one who definitely seem to be on the way up! They've had a few high profile support slots, including Queens Of The Stone Age, and more recently Primal Scream.
Categorising themselves as "Hypnotic dance-punk", I do like the sound of them, and from a couple of live videos on youtube, they look like they have a hell of a lot of energy!
Supports come from two Nottingham bands that are new to me!

Entrance to the venue is via a single 4” step from the street, for which we have a portable ramp available upon request. Our main room is a single level gig space with no stage. It is primarily standing room only but have chairs available if required. Access to the toiler, merch and quiet space area is via a single 6” step, for which we have a ramp available upon request. The toilet itself has a sloped entrance leading to a single cubicle with space for a wheelchair and handrails on the door and walls. Quiet space available upon request. All events are all ages, and offer free entry for personal assistants. The second of two nights at JT Soar for me this week, and more wonderful weird punky stuff!
Headlining this one is Italian Teo Wise who now resides in Leipzig, Germany. I'm going to be confused with the lyrics for this one, as I don't think (m)any will be in English, but do like the sound of them nonetheless!
The Wamaki only have one track on Spotify, and honestly, this is going to be a weird and interesting one! Not sure how to categorise 😁
Also on the bill are Roo Stafford & The Innits from Leicester, and local, and JT's own 'house band' No Peeling on their first gig since the official release of their debut EP, available on 7", seven tracks in just over 8 mins!!

Crawlers are always a bit of an odd one to describe, often sort of 'sad indie' but more upbeat if that's a thing? I know I like what I've heard so that's good enough for me!!
No supports announced yet, and not much in the way of socials for them either so all I've got really is a ticket link!
