NOVA D&D Adventurers League

Three corpses have appeared in gruesome manners across the dock districts of Neverwinter. The Lord Protector of Neverwinter calls on heroic adventurers to join the Neverwinter Criminal Investigative Services, to root out the serial killer who is loose within the city before they can strike again!

This is Part One of the Dawn of Ruin Trilogy.

This event is hosted using the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition Adventurers League rules. It is a Tier 2 game suitable for players with advanced experience who have previously played in multiple Tier 1 games.

Becoming a member in our Discord and accepting our Code of Conduct is required for play at all of our events. You must join and accept the Discord rules before signing up to any MeetUp events. These rules include but are not limited to:

• Assigning your name and pronouns as your server nickname;
• Confirming your age as 18 or older;
• Participating in a respectful environment for both our AL DMs and your fellow players.

If you do not join the Discord and accept these rules prior to signing up for an event, you may be removed from the MeetUp event or be required to join the Discord and agree to the Code of Conduct at the game table prior to playing.

Two council members of Redwood Watch, a village founded in the aftermath of an evil dragon’s defeat, ask the characters to investigate the disappearance of villagers in the nearby redwood grove and learn more about a mysterious blight afflicting the trees.

This event is hosted using the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition (2024) Adventurers League rules. This is a Tier 1 adventure, appropriate for new players.

Well that’s odd. There sure are a lot of cats in the hamlet of Selpt. In fact, it seems as if just about everyone has one, and boy do they pamper those cats. Even if you’ve never been a cat person, it’s hard to say no. In fact, you should probably be adopted by one straight away. Yes, that’s it. You belong to that cat. Who’s a pretty human?

Special Event: Pre-generated 5th level characters will be provided to all players upon arrival to the event.

Zoinks! Mystery LLC, the area’s leading mystery- solving meddlers, have received a mysterious invitation: they’ll get a fortune if they can spend a
full night in a haunted house. But there are scares galore, and nothing is as it seems! They’ll need to look for clues and get to the bottom of this mystery if they want to survive—for something darker lurks below.
