What we’re about
Welcome to a community for Black women in Northern Virginia who have chosen a childfree life. This is a space where we connect, learn, and grow together — through laughter, meaningful conversation, and shared experiences.
This is more than a social club — it’s a sisterhood in progress. We’re building a community that navigates life together, and we’re growing toward deeper consistency, reciprocity, and collective care because we believe a strong community is shaped when members contribute in ways that align with their gifts — whether that’s attending events, sharing ideas, volunteering, or hosting.
How We Gather:
We socialize and share joy.
We hold space for honesty and transparency.
And we’re becoming a community that shows up not only during life’s peaks, but also through its valleys and in-betweens.
If you’re looking for something casual to drop in and out of, this is not the space. If you’re ready to show up, engage, and contribute, you’ve found your tribe.
This Group Is For You If:
- You are a Black woman living a childfree life.
- You’re committed to building real relationships — not surface-level connections.
- You believe community requires effort, consistency, and accountability.
- You’re excited to both give and receive support, encouragement, and joy.
- You want to co-create memorable experiences through:
- Brunches + bougie outings
- Deep discussions & book club
- Travel & adventure
- Game nights & laughter
- Spa days & self-care
- Volunteering & giving back
- Concerts, shows & cultural fun
Our Commitments to Each Other:
- Community is active — we show up, participate, and contribute— for ourselves & for one another.
- Respect is non-negotiable — harassment and bullying = immediate removal.
- We honor our word — if you RSVP, please keep your commitment or update your spot at your earliest convenience.
- Visibility builds trust — use a clear profile photo showing your face. This also makes it easier to identify one another at events.
This community is for women who are ready to do the work of belonging. If that’s you, welcome home! 💛
