A great technique to learn just before the holidays and all the various holiday lights, it's learning lens zooms in Times Square! We'll be using manual zoom lenses to zoom in or out while the camea is exposing and creating dynamic images with all the signage in the area.

So bring a tripod, bring a camera with manual mode, and a zoom lens (I have both a 24-105 and a 100-300). I made a blog post about it if you're curious about what exactly I'm talking about: https://www.jeffmccrum.com/blog/lens-zooms

There's a lot of amazing signs and opportunities around the area, we'll shoot for a few hours and I'll answer any questions you might have about whatever you want to ask about Times Square or night photography.

We'll meet in Times Square on 43rd and Broadway on the south side of the Armed Forces Recruiting Station with the logos of the armed forces on it.
