Busy Bees Field Trip!
Details
Busy Bees is, in my opinion, the best local hotspot for papercrafters, and ABSOLUTELY worth a field trip! What you see in this picture I took a couple years back is just a fraction of the sprawling shelves (probably hundreds of types of paper, embellishments, tools, inks, and so on, including the best mini paper flowers I’ve found).
It’s SO much fun to just look around and get inspired, and maybe also meet Bobbie (the owner) or some of the other crafters there. Busy Bees has a small-but-bustling community of people who love to get together, socialize, and work on their projects (mostly scrapbooking I think), with lots of tables and room to spread out. :)
Because this is just a free get-together, I don’t have any “class” or project in mind, but of course I’m happy to share tips and ideas if you have something you’re trying to put together…or if you see something at Busy Bees and want to make a project out of it. ;) I’d love to support their business if we can.
As requested, I scheduled this for a Saturday, thinking 11 is probably a safe time, but please message me if you want me to try to find a different time. Parking can be a little chaotic at the store, but there should be something available in their lot or on the adjacent street.
So excited to…drumroll…MEETUP!! :)
The interface here is very clunky and won’t let me input the address, but it’s in Newbury Park near the In-N-Out.
