Meet: On the rail overpass at Hornsby Station at 8:00am.

Distance, Time, Effort: 12.89 km distance, About 3hrs (based on easy pace), Moderate effort
Public transport example: Train from Central Platform 8 at 07:15am gets in 07:56am. This is a good option as it is express.
Driving: You can park at Hornsby or Asquith. Best train from Asquith to the start leaves Platform 1 at 7:53am and gets in to Hornsby at 7:57am.
The hike: This is mostly all bush track so hiking shoes/boots/trail runners are recommended. There is maybe 15% (ish) through suburban streets Bring 2-3 litres of water and snacks. A lot of this is wide open trails - very different to our last sections.
