Free jazz/funk/blues concert by The Move

The San Jose Jazz Boombox Truck rolls out to the Gordon Biersch Night Market in Japantown most Thursdays, Spring through Fall, where you’ll find great SJZ-curated music, food trucks and, of course, great beer.

The Move is Stanford’s premier 7-man band, bringing a uniquely modern mix of jazz, funk, and blues to the bandstand through a repertoire from RnB classics to high-energy originals. Complete with soulful vocals, buttery-smooth horn lines, and a dynamic rhythm section, The Move blends rich harmonies with infectiously funky grooves to create a soul-satisfying wall of sound.

Doors at 5 PM, show at 6 PM, so let's meet around 5:30. I will wear a florescent yellow jacket to be easy to find. Admission is free, no tickets needed.
