Let's turn one of the most screen-saturated places, the train, offline. 📵 Put your phone away. Go OffMode. Join us for free.

Imagine this: hundreds of strangers riding the metro, without a phone in sight. Instead, they're reading, drawing, chatting, having fun. On Saturday, August 15, we're challenging Sydney to take a break from scrolling and turn Train Line T1 into a phone-free living room on wheels.

***

What to expect:
➡️ The calm way there. 45 minutes of shared silent time - to relax, read, sketch and slow down.
⬅️ The social way back. 45 minutes of time to chat, connect, play games & meet new people (and enjoy some music?).
📵 Phones off and tucked away for the entire round-trip.
Please note that the Train is open to everyone, so commuters might board the same line (probably with their phones 😉*).*

***

Where & when:
📍 A round trip on Train Line T1, from Central Station Platform 16 (starting point) to Train Station Turramurra (and back).
⏰ Each way takes +- 45 minutes. We will start and end at the same station (Central).
🗓 Saturday, August 15th, from 3pm - 5pm. Please arrive at 3pm, as we'll take the 3:15pm Train from Platform 16.
🎟 RSVP to claim your free ticket.

What to bring:
📖 Bring a book, knitting set, journal, sketch pad or whatever offline hobby you love.
👯 Your friends, fam, colleagues, crush... Basically, people who'd kill you if they'd miss this.

***

**Please note that you will still need to check in (or buy a metro ticket) using your card or Opal for both ways ($9.65 total), to abide by Australian law.*
