🐶🎅 Pawventures: Christmas Walks for Shelter Dogs

**One Love Foundation ** is organizing a special holiday Pawventures day at the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter — Fresh air, movement, and human attention make a huge difference for them, and this outing gives each pup a chance to stretch, explore, and feel seen. 🐾❤️

With the holidays approaching, this is a meaningful way to show up for dogs who don’t have families yet 🫂 . Walking them helps reduce stress, improves behavior, and lets their true personalities shine — which can increase their chances of being adopted. We’ll also be capturing social spotlights 📸 to share their names, quirks, and little moments that showcase who they are.

Whether you’ve joined a One Love event before or it’s your first time, everyone is welcome to join in and make a real impact. 💫

If you’d like to add a little extra kindness, you’re welcome to bring a small Christmas gift 🎁 for the pups — treats, toys, or anything simple they can enjoy. Totally optional, but always appreciated.

💛 We will meet at the entrance where the shelter staff will hand over our pup for the day. We woll then take them out for a walk at a nearby park for a chance to walk with them and play with them. You are also encouraged to bring any fun Christmas accessories 🎅 for yourself or your shelter pup of the day for fun holiday pics!

After the walks, you’re welcome to stay and help capture a few photos or short videos of the pups, or simply enjoy some time at the park with your shelter pup and fellow volunteers knowing you made a difference. Every spotlight, every share, and every small gesture helps these dogs get one step closer to finding a home.

Come solo or bring a friend — but don’t miss this one 🫶. A meaningful, uplifting morning with dogs who truly need us — and a chance to help them shine this Christmas.
