Great for folks who are yoga-curious and seasoned practitioners alike, Yoga Basics is a pay-what-you-can community practice that weaves together the 8 limbs of yoga in an approachable way.
Val will guide you through a dynamic asana practice with emphasis on the fundamental postures, transitions, and basic breath awareness techniques (pranayama). Throughout the practice, you can expect to learn about yoga philosophy, beyond movement and breath, and how to apply the lessons from yoga to daily life - the real practice.
All bodies are welcome and honored.
Mats, blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps and eye pillows are available at no extra cost. Please contact the studio for any questions.
