Build4STL: Visualizing Vacant Housing Hackathon
Details
OpenSTL's 2017 flagship hackathon is focused on building a user portal for better access and insight into vacant properties in the City to keep properties on the productive tax role, avoid tax debts, vacancy problems, and get properties back into productive use faster.
Experts from the city government, including Mayor Lyda Krewson and Chief Resiliency Officer Patrick Brown, will be on hand to provide expertise, feedback, and input on how to build tools that can immediately be put to work.
She says she will be joining our hackathon, "with the goal of improving data-driven decision-making, economic development, and increased transparency for St. Louis residents.”
