Talking Social Impact & Community Enhancements in Richmond

This discussion will cover updates from Ajax Green and Mike Rabin, two of Richmond's social impact advocates re-thinking economic systems, sustainability, and community engagement.

Learn about society's polycrises, their effects in Central Virginia, efforts that have been established, the community enhancements that have resulted, and the work that remains.

Mike Rabin is the founder of Pollinators for Change, a Richmond-based movement reimagining how we resource impact economies. Applying living systems principles to social entrepreneurship, Pollinators for Change bridges the gap between grassroots social enterprises and regenerative capital through an integrated incubation and resourcing model for community-led transformation.

Ajax Green is "A Mindful Leader & Regenerative Business Evangelist."
Since 1994, Ajax has focused exclusively on triple bottom line businesses and values-led non-profits. He founded a regional non-profit centered on localism and sustainable economic development and has been a catalyst for industry-changing innovations as an advisor, speaker, and workshop leader. Actively involved with organizations like the Social Venture Network and the American Sustainable Business Council, Ajax is a recognized thought leader committed to a more conscious and sustainable future.

As a polymath, he seamlessly blends his experiences as a world-class athlete and a successful business leader with a deep, 45-year meditation practice. This unique synergy fuels his mission: to bring greater coherence - where all parts work together in harmony - to the global economy, one individual and organization at a time. He believes coherence is the bedrock of human and business success, leading to peak performance and "flow."

Before his distinguished business career, Ajax was a world-class rock climber, a passion he maintains. His entrepreneurial journey includes developing two multimillion-dollar athletic clubs, executing a successful turnaround for another, and founding two manufacturing companies. As president of a healthcare company, he significantly grew revenue and more than doubled profits. His expertise also covers patient and physician education and key interim management roles.
