This group is about having fun while helping others. Doing good deeds makes you happy so join us by getting involved in service projects that change lives while getting to know people in your community. Giving back to your community through volunteer work feels great and helps your community. This group, sponsored by Kiwanis, is all about having fun while making the world a better place. Some volunteer activities require membership in Kiwanis and others will be open to all.

"IMPOWER The Village is a Transitional Housing Program that offers safe and affordable housing combined with comprehensive wraparound support for homeless and former foster youth aged 18-24 years. Aimed at preventing homelessness and assisting young adults as they transition to adulthood, staff and community volunteers serve as a safety net, help youth complete their education, and enhance employment and independent living skills.
We're excited to share some upcoming floor renovation projects, and we’re still in great need of helping hands. I would love to invite you and your group to come out and participate in our upcoming events.
We need assistance with laying the flooring May 15th and May 29th. If you're interested in helping, please feel free to reach out to me directly so we can coordinate times. This is where we need the most help!

Come join the fun and help hungry neighbors at the same time as we sort and pack food for the needy of Central Florida.
Be sure to wear closed toed shoes. Please ONLY sign up if you intend to come, as the food bank will count on us being there to help with this important work! There is plenty of free parking. Bring your kids or grandkids over the age of 10 if you wish! Guests must register as well!
*Age Requirement: Our minimum age requirement is 10 years of age. Children between the ages of 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years of age or older. We require a minimum of 1 chaperone per 5 children.
*Lockers: Volunteers should be advised that there is a limited number of lockers for personal belongings. Where possible, please leave valuable items at home!!!!
* We do not have a host attending this month, so please check in at the front desk and make some friends! :)
