Against the unending mist and unseen terrors of the Ethereal Plane, the Radiant Citadel stands bright as a bastion of hope. The luminescence of the Auroral Diamond is mirrored in the constellation of fifteen structure-sized gemstones, the Concord Jewels, which orbit the city and provide transportation to the far-flung reaches of the Multiverse. Abandoned and lost for ages, the Citadel has been resurrected from its slumber and reclaimed. The city now serves as a nexus of diplomacy, trade, a repository of histories and secrets, and a thriving sanctuary for those seeking safety or a better life. Heroes and paupers meet on equal footing in the Radiant Citadel as power and resources are equitably shared across the Citadel. Brave adventurers working for the various benevolent organizations within the citadel reach out across the multiverse to offer their aid to those in need. You are one such adventure, a beacon of the light of the Auroral Diamond, reaching into the darkness of the Multiverse.

Radiant Citadel Adventures is a West Marches Style Campaign adapted to work within the Adventures League rule, creating a premise for a series of one shots of all tiers of play. The Citadel will evolve as players go out into the multiverse and their adventures are recorded into the history of the city. Welcome adventurers-to-be!
There are many things which unite a game of dungeons and dragons. Worldbuilding and story, role playing, combat, socializing, and exploration... just to name a few. But none is more important for the player than having a character, a character which they will inhabit for the course of the adventure, growing and learning as they do.
But making a character can be tough, and that's no secret. Whether it's your very first time with Adventurer's League, 5th edition, dungeons and dragons in general, or whether you're a more experienced player looking for guidance with a new type of character, this event is for you!
This event is designed to be a chill hang-out where experienced DMs and players will be on stand-by to help with any and all things character building: races, classes, stats, abilities, and so on. Pre-generated characters will be available if you simply want to spend some time learning from something already mostly put together, but blank character sheets will also be available for those wishing to start from the ground up.
Note: there will not be a game played, this is just a character building tutorial.
