Harvest of Peace - Shambhala Celebrates the Autumn Equinox

Details
Harvest of Peace is Shambalians' autumn celebration. It’s associated with a feeling of gathering together or “harvesting” our warmth, connection, community spirit and shared resources.
Join us on Sunday, September 21, for meditation practice followed by a short talk on the legends and ancestors of Shambhala, and potluck feast and music.
For the potluck: Please bring a dish to share that does not contain nuts or seeds, including tahini or sesame oil (due to allergies in the sangha).
Stumped for ideas? Think seasonal: Waldorf salad, cob salad, ratatouille, quiche florentine, leek and mushroom cannelloni, spiced mixed nuts, deviled eggs, cranberry muffins, apple pie, carrot cake.
As always, kids are welcome to join the practice as well as the festivities!
Bring a musical instrument if you've got one, and share a tune or two. Poetry, dance pieces, and toasts also welcome!
Bring your family and friends!
Cheerful Harvest of Peace, and we'll see you on the 21st!
