Waters and Prairie Hiking Club at Detroit Mountain Recreation area

Detroit Mountain Recreation Area offers a wide variety of hiking trails through the rolling hills near Detroit Lakes, MN. The Maple and Red Oak trees will coat the trail with a blanket of colorful leaves. We will be doing a 2-mile group hike on one of the wide cross-country ski trails before snowfall. Then you can split up and choose to hunt a troll or the golden rabbit on the troll trails.

After the hike, we will gather for stories and good food at The Long Bridge Bar, Grill, and Marina on the shore of beautiful Detroit Lake.
