Bicycle Aurora Saturday Ride

Looking to be a very pleasant Saturday, so let's ride!

Read this description carefully and throughly:

We'll leave from the Triple Creek Trailhead, up the Highline Canal Trail, through GVR and onto the First Creek Trail for a ride around the exterior of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge, back down through Northfield and return to the trailhead via the Sand Creek Greenway Regional Trail. About 35 miles roundtrip on light gravel, paved trails and on-street bike routes. 12-15 mph pace and no drop. You will need a gravel or ATB/MTB for this ride. The trail around the arsenal is not for beginners and does have some challenging surfaces and terrain to navigate.

It is thorn season out on the front range, so it would be advised to bring an extra tube, inflation devices and check your tubeless sealant levels before this ride.

Restrooms are available at the trailhead (before we depart) and at the arsenal exit (about 2/3 of the way through the ride.) Plan accordingly.

Bring your helmet, sunscreen, plenty of water, light jacket, snacks as desired and let's go see some wildlife!

Be warned: Taco's or Asada Fries are very likely to occur at the completion of this event!

BY ATTENDING this group ride event you ACKNOWLEDGE and ACCEPT the following:
1. I ACKNOWLEDGE, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of bicycling activities and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such activity. I further acknowledge that the group ride activity will be conducted over public pavements, trails, on-street bike lanes and facilities open to the public, and upon which the hazards of traveling are to be expected. I further agree and warrant that if, at any time, I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation.
2. I FULLY UNDERSTAND that (a) BICYCLING ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS AND DEATH ("Risks"); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the group ride activity, the conditions in which the group ride activity takes place, or the negligence of others; (c) there may be OTHER RISKS AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I may incur as a result of my participation; (d) I acknowledge that Bicycle Aurora, event organizers, ride leaders, and any event volunteers will not be liable for any accidents or damages through this group ride.
