Visit Barnegat Trail, Barnegat Bay and Historic Barnegat. 8-----9 . Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to message or email me before you can register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.

This hike begins on Barnegat Trail and we visit Pirates Peninsula in Barnegat. We pass the Barnegat Division of the Edwin B.Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, which is comprised of wetlands along the southern part of the bay. We walk around Paradise Peninsula and pass the Barnegat Municipal Dock and the boardwalk .This hike offers great views of the Barnegat Bay .We will visit and hike through Historic Barnegat and get a glimpse of its past. We finish the hike back on Barnegat Trail..Bring sunscreen, water,snacks and lunch.There is a CVS across the street from the parking lot with restrooms.
