Wednesday 9:30am hike Shark River Park

Details
Shark River Park
Let’s do 5.5-6 miles in Shark River Park - at a moderate-to-BRISK(3mph) pace. Please know your abilities. Club insurance covers us when hikers stay behind the leader and in front of the sweep for the duration of the hike. This park is one of the prettiest in our area and very easy to get to. Trails range from single track dirt to wide gravel. Plenty of stream views, bridges, wooded areas, open fields. A great place to view flora and fauna. The park is flat to rolling, with a few areas of shorter hills, uneven terrain and tree roots. Hiking boots/shoes are suggested. Poles if you think you’ll need them. Things to bring: Water, bug spray, sun protection, layered clothing. We will meet in the main parking area at 1101 SchoolHouse Rd. Wall - near the restrooms. Please arrive a few minutes early, to gear up, use restroom, meet others. I’ll be next to my White Subaru Crosstrek, with black roof and kayak rack. If needed on morning of hike: my cell 732-433-8343.
