Boardwalks Hike - Seaside Park to Lavallette------ 11-13 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to message or email me to register.Priority on my hikes will be given to those that regularly attend or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
We begin in Seaside Park at 14th Avenue. We continue through Seaside Heights to the end of the boardwalk ( Hiering Avenue) .Next we walk through the streets of Ortley Beach and onto the two short boardwalks and walk on the beach a short distance ( .4 mile) to reach Lavallette boardwalk. or we by pass Ortley boardwalks and make right turn on Dover Avenue to Lavallette boardwalk. Once we reach the end of the boardwalk at Ortley Avenue we continue along Barnegat Bay side up Washington Avenue (Lavallette Gazebo) and back to boardwalks to Seaside Park . There are restrooms in Seaside Park,Seaside Heights Boardwalk,porta-potties along the route. . No restrooms at beginning of hike. Lunch break at Lavallette Gazebo.
The hike will be 11-13 miles at 3-mph pace .Bring lunch ,water, snacks and something to sit on. If you have questions contact Al D--email asilviod888@yahoo.com, cell day of hike only 640-208-0349. Kim N. will be co-leader.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early for sign-ins, boot adjustments, safety talk ,etc. I leave on time.
