Howard Hetsel Memorial Thanksgiving Morning Hike

Howard led this hike for 9 years. Sadly, 2020 was our first year without Howard, who passed away right before Thanksgiving. When he knew that he would not be here for this hike he tasked Gavin with "keeping the tradition alive." He would be proud we have kept the tradition alive all these years!
Each year we have a brief remembrance of Howard before the hike. If you have a memory you'd like to share you are welcome to do so.
Hike is approx. 2.5 miles (you can do more or less) with a little bit of hills and the park is close by. Short and easy — COME OUT AND GET A BREATH OF FRESH AIR and Pre-WORK OFF SOME OF THOSE HOLIDAY CALORIES... as Howard used to say.
