This scenic trail is particularly attractive if you prefer not climbing (overall elevation is a mere 88ft), sandwiched in-between the Mulberry River and the banks/backyards of The Falls of Braselton subdivision, clocks in at ~4.5 miles. This will be my 2nd visit during winter; during spring/summer, the banks on both sides of the trail are lined with lovely perennials, that attract many pollinators such as butterflies, birds, bees,... and the river includes a small waterfall and many sandbars.

The path is mostly shaded, although the first (& last) 1/2 mile or so is not so, during hotter months, a hat might be advised as well as insect repellent & sunscreen.

The trail is moderately traveled, a combination of gravel, pine bark, sand, minimal roots/rocks. If you've never taken this walk, an interesting feature along the way is a granite monument that marks where all four of Braselton’s counties (Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson) come together.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING: The gravel road into the parking lot is next to The Falls of Braselton subdivision (Fisk Falls Drive) and across the street from Sienna on the River subdivision near intersection of Sienna Valley Drive & Liberty Church Road (see map photo). The park signage is small and easy to miss, parking is limited, look for the bright orange, whimsical artwork/mural (see photo) on the side of the small storage bldg in the parking lot.

No restrooms on-site but Liberty Village shopping is nearby, Ace Hardware is my typical go-to before heading out. We will begin on time so please allow extra time if you need to stop there. The end time is a guesstimate, so allow for some flexibility.
