IN MEMORIAM - ROBERT M. NEITZEL

As many of you are aware, on Friday, October 3, 2025, Bob Neitzel, a long-time member of WVMS, and a loyal and dear friend to many of us, suddenly left this realm. There is comfort knowing that Bob passed doing what he loved, at White Tank Mountain, a place he enjoyed, and in the company of a close friend.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, (which would have been Bob's 73rd birthday) we will meet at the Nature Center at White Tank Mountain Regional Park by 1:00 p.m. There is a $7.00 entry fee per vehicle, so it makes sense to carpool to the Nature Center and limit the number of cars entering the park. Louise and Kirk will direct us to the location where Bob passed. NOTE: The location is approximately one (1) mile into the park, so we will walk to and from the location of the memorial for a total of two (2) miles.

Those who wish to do so may share their memories of or experiences with Bob. We cannot leave any mementos or release balloons or lanterns in the park. It is considered littering and will subject us to fines and exclusion from the park.
