EXPLANATION OF ANNUAL DUES

For 2026, membership dues will remain at a one-time payment of $10.00, the purpose of which is to cover the cost assessed by Meetup to host our group on its platform.

When dues are payable:
If you have been a member of WVMS throughout 2025 (January - December), dues are payable by January 31, 2026.

If you joined WVMS after January of 2025, dues are payable one (1) year from the date you joined our group. For example, if you joined WVMS on March 1, 2025, your payment is due by February 28, 2026.

Non-payment of dues:
If you miss the due date for payment, Meetup will automatically suspend your account, and you will be unable to RSVP for any events until dues are paid and posted.

Payment options:
1. You can pay any of the organizers (me, Paula W., Ana, or Stu) at any event. Payment can be made via cash or check.
2. If you prefer to pay via Venmo or Zelle, please send payment to Marceline Lavelle (724) 328-2886.
3. If you have a credit card on file with Meetup, it will charge your credit card by January 31, 2026, for those with that due date, or during the month that your membership expires, if you joined WVMS after January of 2025.

NOTE: Meetup outsources collection of dues to Stripe which charges a fee of $1.25 for each transaction, so payment via cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle is preferable.
