👥 ¿A quién va dirigido?

A estudiantes, doctorandos, investigadores y profesionales del ámbito sanitario, biológico o biomédico, que necesiten escribir, leer o presentar ciencia en inglés o en español, y que quieran hacerlo con más claridad, seguridad y soltura.

No hace falta tener experiencia previa ni nivel alto de inglés o español.
Este es un encuentro informal y de tanteo, no una clase técnica.

🔍 ¿De qué hablaremos?

• ¿Por qué cuesta tanto escribir o explicar ciencia, incluso en tu idioma?
• ¿Qué errores típicos cometemos al redactar en inglés o en español técnico?
• ¿Qué recursos pueden ayudarte si estás preparando un artículo, una tesis, una presentación o un examen?
• ¿Y qué papel juega la IA en todo esto?

Pero no nos centramos solo en la técnica. También nos hacemos preguntas más profundas:

• ¿Cuál es el propósito de la ciencia en el siglo XXI?
• ¿Está al servicio de la humanidad… o de la burocracia, los sistemas de financiación y los indicadores?
• ¿Por qué resulta tan difícil pensar de forma distinta, cuestionar los paradigmas o innovar sin obstáculos?

También compartiré algunos ejemplos curiosos (como una IA que escribió su propio artículo científico) y abriremos el espacio para que puedas preguntar o compartir tus dudas e ideas.

👤 ¿Quién lo organiza?

Soy doctora en bioquímica y especialista en comunicación científica en inglés y español. Obtuve mi doctorado en E.E.U.U. y he realizado también investigación en Francia y en Alemania. Actualmente, trabajo con estudiantes, investigadores y profesionales del ámbito sanitario y científico, ayudándoles a escribir, traducir o presentar sus ideas con claridad y precisión. También asesoro en redacción de TFG/TFM, tesis, papers y preparación de exámenes técnicos sanitarios.

👥 Who is it for?

Students, PhD candidates, researchers, and professionals in the health, biological, or biomedical fields who need to write, read, or present science in English or Spanish — and want to do it with more clarity, confidence, and ease.
No previous experience or high level of English or Spanish is required.
This is an informal, exploratory meeting — not a technical class.

🔍 What will we talk about?

• Why is it so hard to write or explain science — even in your own language?
• What are the most common mistakes when writing in English or Spanish for scientific purposes?
• What tools can help you if you're preparing an article, thesis, presentation, or exam?
• And what role does AI play in all of this?

But we don’t just focus on technique. We also ask deeper questions:

• What is the purpose of science in the 21st century?
• Is it serving humanity — or bureaucracy, funding systems, and metrics?
• Why is it so difficult to think differently, question paradigms, or innovate without friction?

I’ll also share a few interesting examples (like an AI that wrote its own scientific paper), and we’ll open the space for questions, doubts, and idea-sharing.

👤 Who’s organizing this?

I'm a PhD in Biochemistry and a specialist in scientific communication in both English and Spanish.
I earned my doctorate in the U.S. and have also done research in France and Germany.

Currently, I work with students, researchers, and professionals in health and science, helping them write, translate, or present their ideas with clarity and precision.

I also advise on writing for theses, dissertations, academic papers, and healthcare-related exams.
