Scenic Blue Mountain Hike - The Grand Cliff Top Walk ~20 KM

Discover the breathtaking Grand Cliff Top hike ~20 km, a new gem in the Blue Mountains! We'll journey seamlessly from Wentworth Falls to Katoomba, experiencing spectacular lookouts, countless waterfalls, rich Aboriginal culture, and unique villages along this scenic route.

Read below before RSVP:

• Difficulty: Moderate-hard bushwalk with multiple inclines, best suited for experienced bushwalkers. You can exit midway at Leura (15 min walk to station).
• Start: Meet at the exit to Station Rd, Wentworthfalls Station by 9:40 AM (take 7:54 AM BMT train from Central), End: Katoomba Station
• Route: Starting from Wentworth Falls, we'll follow the cliff edge past Gordon Falls and Leura, soaking in dramatic views of Jamison Valley and Mount Solitary. Beyond Buttenshaw Bridge, the track reveals beautiful waterfalls, scenic lookouts, and the iconic Three Sisters, before finishing our journey at Katoomba's Scenic World.
• Support Our Group: An optional $5 gratuity helps cover our Meetup subscription and group running costs. Please carry change or ask for PayID at the event.

Important:

• Be Prepared: Wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, bring at least 2 litres of water, electrolytes, snacks/lunch, sunscreen, a hat, and weather-appropriate clothing.
• RSVP Responsibly: Your RSVP is a commitment to attend. Please update it at least 12-24 hours in advance if your plans change. This allows the host to plan and others on the waitlist to join. Multiple last-minute cancellations or no-shows may affect your participation in future events or result in removal from the group.
• Be Early: Please arrive a few minutes early. Directions and event details are provided in the event description. We are unable to respond to directions, late arrivals or waitlist inquiries before or during the event.
• Community Walk: This is a volunteer-led walk with a fellow enthusiast. Please keep the host within sight throughout the walk. You're welcome to leave at any time if needed.
