Mid-week evening walk - Wynyard - Pyrmont Bay - Redfern ~10km

Join us for a scenic evening harbour walk spanning nearly 10 kilometres along Pyrmont and Blackwattle Bays. This is a brisk-paced 2-hour walk for about 5kmph with brief rest stops. Be sure you're comfortable walking for this duration and pace, good fitness is recommended.

Read this before RSVP:

• Start time: 6:00 PM sharp (please arrive a few minutes early)
• Meeting point: Outside Wynyard Station, York Street Stand N
• Route: We'll begin by heading towards Darling Harbour before traversing the picturesque Pyrmont Bay. From there, the walk continues along Blackwattle Bay, passing the Fish Market, Jubilee Park and Sydney Uni. The estimated finish near the Redfern station is around 8 PM, the route may vary slightly on the day. We will have a dinner at the finish, venue TBC.
• What to bring: Comfortable sneakers (uneven terrain possible in some areas), charged phone or torch/headlamp for dark sections, water (refills available), and weather-appropriate clothing.
• Support Our Group: An optional $5 contribution is always appreciated! It helps cover our Meetup subscription and group running costs. (PayID available on request).

• RSVP Responsibly: Your RSVP is a commitment to attend. If your plans change, please update it at least 12-24 hours in advance. This helps the host plan accordingly and allows waitlisted members to join, as spots are often limited for safety and logistical reasons. Frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to join future events or result in removal from the group.
• Community Walk: This is a volunteer-led walk with a fellow enthusiast. Please keep the host within sight throughout the walk. You're welcome to leave at any time if needed.
• Be Early: Please arrive a few minutes early. Directions and event details are provided in the event description. We are unable to respond to late arrivals or waitlist inquiries and cannot guide you before or during the walk if you're not within sight.
