Blue Mountains - Grand Canyon through Cliff Top and Pope's Glen Track ~17 KM

Join us for a scenic (and popular) walk in the Blue Mountains, a full-day 17 km circuit through the heart of Blue Mountains National Park, combining lush canyon landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping valley views. Good fitness is important given the distance of around 17km and over 800m of elevation.

Before you RSVP, be sure to read the following:

• Difficulty: Hard because of distance and climbs, good pace and multiple elevation gains!
• Start at 09:45 AM at Blackheath Station platform, finish back here around 4:30 PM. You can take BMT trains from Central station or you can park at the station.
• Route: Starts at Blackheath Station, this track winds through Neates Glen and then we'll descent to the famous and beautiful Grand Canyon gorge. After our hike along, we'll climb to cliff-top lookouts like Evans and Govetts Leap before looping back via Popes Glen to finish back at the station.
• Gratuity: $5 - please carry Cash or ask for PayID.

Important - Please Read:

• What to Bring: Wear proper hiking shoes, bring ample hydration (2+ litres), snacks/lunch - no food or water to buy during the hike, sunscreen, hat, and weather protection. It is recommended to carry basic first-aid and insect-repellent spray.
• RSVP responsibly – Treat it as a commitment; update or cancel 12–24 hrs before.
• Arrive early – All route/gear info is in the description; hosts can’t field messages during the event.
• Stay together – It's a volunteer-led community walk; keep the host in sight and let them know if you leave.
