Would you like to join in on a Spectacular Port Stephens Day Tour. It’s about a day to unwind, kick back and chilax, while you leave Sydney behind and experience the serenity of the Port Stephens Region, filling the air with excitement and adventure.
Once we pick everyone up at one of three pick up locations, we will stop for on the banks of the Brisbane Water in the heart of the Central Coast. You will have the opportunity to walk through the spectacular Edogawa Commemorative Garden (Japanese Gardens) & also view the Gosford Regional Gallery.
We will head towards the coastline and drive through Swansea, Belmont & past Australia's largest coastal saltwater lake. We will stop at Queens Wharf in the 2nd largest city in N.S.W. - Newcastle. You will have the chance to walk along the Hunter River to Nobbys Beach where the famous Pasha Bulker 76,000 tonne bulk carrier ran aground during a huge storm in 2007.
It will be time for lunch as we head for Port Stephens and drive over the Stockton Bridge to the local Barra Farm - Cookabarra Restaurant & Farm. You will be able to enjoy a healthy & fresh barramundi meal straight from the farm to the plate. Lunch or the Barra Farm Tour is not included, however we have Special VIP Group Rates. The additional cost is
Barramundi Farm Tour = $10.00 (Paid Locally) or
Barramundi Lunch = $30.00 (Paid Locally) or
Barramundi Lunch & Barramundi Farm Tour = $34.00 (Paid Locally).
You will have a choice of fresh barra or there will be other options including Vegetarian and Vegan choices.
We will then head to the southern side of Port Stephens, which is 2.5 times the size of Sydney Harbour. We continue through Nelson Bay and stop at the more secluded Shoal Bay. You will be able to walk the beautiful sandy beach, walk through the quaint town or take the extreme walk up to the summit (161 metres elevation) to the top of Tomaree Headland.
It will be time for Sydney and on the way home we will make a comfort stop before arriving back to Hornsby at 19:45, Wynyard at 20:15 & Forestville at 20:45, all times are approximate as it is a Big Day in Port Stephens.
