Deep Gap - Hard

Please know your limits; we recommend this hike for those who have done extensive winter hikes or who can handle longer hikes over 15 miles. While the mileage is short the difficulty will be matched in a way to feel like a long mileage hike.

A challenging late winter ascent with rock scrambles, fixed ropes, and steep climbs through a magical and possibly snow mountain and forest scape. Spikes required. Expect breathtaking views and a true wonderland adventure for experienced hikers.

Type: Out and back
Elevation gain: 2,440 ft
Estimated Time: 6 hours depending on hiking group and trail conditions. Could be 60 degrees could be -4. We'll keep you updated!
Water Sources/Supply: Bring 2-3 liters, snacks and lunch. It's nice to bring your backpacking stove and make a hot cup of tea or coffee mid-way as well.
