Norwich Harbor 3 River Paddle in Norwich CT

• You must have your PFD on and fully fastened to participate in this event.
• Event start time is in your boat, in the water, and ready to paddle!

The launch is at Howard Brown Memorial Park, 100 Chelsea Harbor Drive, Norwich.

Required equipment: PFD, 10-foot length of rope, whistle, headlamp/flashlight (for evening paddles). And be prepared to give your emergency contact number to the host if he or she asks for it.

The Yantic and Thames Rivers are easy paddles. When we get up about a mile on the Shetucket River we will encounter lots of rocks. If the water is low we will turn back downstream. If not some may try to challenge the rocks for a while.
