WATERFALLS ON EMPIRE PASS

When we're ready it's off to North Lawson to explore the waterfalls of Empire Pass. The first of the falls we stumble upon is Fairy Dell Falls, the start of a magical journey.

Dantes Glen Falls offers us an opportunity to cool down and relax under a rock ledge while we prepare for the waterfalls that follow just like St Michaels Falls, truely a spectacular sight.

We encounter temperate rainforests, beautiful shaded gullies and of course more fantastic falls just like Frederica. Last chance to soak under a waterfall before we head back to Lawson for lunch. Anyone for a feed and a drink at the pub before we depart.

All in all about three and hour half hours, maybe four exploration of the falls with plenty of shady spots to shelter from the sun. No severe climbs or descents, just a pleasant day out with friends. Call me on 0451483009 if you're lost or uncertain like myself.

P.S. A few interesting creek crossings could make this a bit of an adventure with some great photo opportunities. Due to recent upgradings the muddy sections are now quite passable, almost.
