Grand Canyon Blackheath

For those catching the train there is a 7.57 from Parramatta arriving at 9.44.

Meet at the Bakehouse at 10.15 for the short drive to the start of the walk along Evan’s Lookout Road (car shuffle will likely be required depending on number taking the train)

The Grand canyon is one of the most beautiful walks in the mountains with so much to see in a relatively small area.

There is a long (approx 30min) descent into and, a corresponding (approx 45-60min) climb back out of the canyon along with a reasonable climb inside the canyon also.

While the circuit is only 6kms and well protected from the elements, it is still a hard grade and will take 3-4 hrs to complete.
