What we’re about
The Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) is the Pasadena chapter of JCI USA, a nonprofit organization of active young citizens who are committed to creating a positive impact in their communities.
We are an organization made up of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40, who want to improve the lives of those in the Pasadena area through community service.
But, it doesn’t stop there: We’re young, We’re fun, And we get things done! In addition to community service, the Pasadena Jaycees puts on social events and has a yearly exchange with a Jaycee chapter in Japan.
Becoming a member of the Pasadena Jaycees means getting the opportunity to enrich the lives of the Pasadena community and to make new friends to last a lifetime.
The easiest place to start is our social mixer on the third Wednesday of every month. We can't wait to get to know you!

Operation Santa: Toy Sorting Day 1
Pasadena Scottish Rite, 150 N Madison Ave, Pasadena, CA, USAs the Pasadena Jaycees’ longest running project, Operation Santa has touched the lives of children since 1934. Every year, letters to Santa are sent by children in underserved communities. Toys are then purchased and donated. On Christmas Eve, hundreds of volunteers, dressed for the occasion as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Elves deliver thousands of toys.
We need your help to make this night of magic possible! This event is for one of two toy sorting days. Help sort through and categorize all purchased / donated toys to help match toys to children's letter requests and prepare for the Santa Team's toy distribution on Christmas Eve. There will also be a photo booth, hot chocolate station, games, and more, so don't hesitate to sign up with your loved ones and bring everyone together!

Have you ever wanted to try on a Santa belly or a Mrs. Claus costume? Now's your chance! Dress up as your favorite North Pole friend and help deliver our Santa gifts in person. Santa Teams will be distributing toys at night on Christmas Eve (12/24), so please ensure you are available on the day if you would like to participate.
We will have plenty of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Elf suits to borrow from, but bringing your own is also encouraged. If you'd like to deliver toys but don't fancy a costume, sign up as a Reindeer to help drive "Santa's Sleigh" or you can help at our "North Pole" headquarters.
It's an incredibly rewarding experience being a part of the holiday magic. Please sign up for this event on this form. The Meetup event is only for publicity, you must sign up on our form to confirm your attendance.2 attendees
