Hey Gang. Hump-Day Happy Hour 1 was a success! Michael attended. We hung out and talked about work, Patchogue over the years, upcoming Thanksgiving and holiday angst, sports and more.

Happy Hour 1 was at Shands. Michael got a soda and calamari, which looked delicious (and proved you don't have to drink alcohol to hang out with Patchogue Happy Hour Club).

Degenerate Primo got 2 daquiris. Not a frozen tropical drink. Old-school daquiri: Lime juice, simple syrup, rum. That's what I like about Shands. Old-school cocktails paired with top-tier service. Happy Hour daquiri at Shands is $10, 2 for $20 = a great value.

Hump-Day Happy Hour 2: Electric Boogaloo will be at CAJUN CLAWS in Patchogue Village, on Wednesday, 11/5, 5:00-ish to whenever.

Shands is high-end; Cajun Claws is casual. It is one of Primo's favorite village Happy Hour spots. I'd get a good cocktail (Cajun Mai Tai or Coconut Margarita) and great fish tacos (now off the menu) or rock shrimp for like $14. Cocktails are $6, apps $4-$11. Cajun Claws is more affordable, more casual, likely less crowded on a Wednesday.
