Join fellow developers and designers for an evening of authentic Indian food and connections at this exclusive event.
As some of you know, I host the 'Indian Food Explorations' Meetup. We're hosting this special dinner event to bring the tech, design, and foodies together at what is quite possibly the best Indian food truck in Portland!
It isn't the usual fare served at Indian restaurants in town. It's is like a home cooked meal made with love in small-batches using mostly local and organic ingredients.

The owner Lekdan (Lex) is from Ladakh, one of the most beautiful parts of India nestled in the Himalayas, but deeply affected by environmental issues.Lex moved to the US and got an MBA, transitioned to a career as a psychotherapist, and then started his food truck while living in Los Angeles a few years ago. He recently moved to Portland and opened this food truck on NE Alberta St.
His brother Norgis, who is a doctor at OHSU, helps him out often and you’ll see them both preparing and serving at the food truck.
The idea behind the name ‘Naked Indian’ is about it being a blank canvas for simple, but creative food related to Lex’s life and experiences with other foods, which he is incorporating into this food project.
The Menu
Your meal for this special evening includes:- Lamb or Chicken or Vegetarian (pick an option)
- Chana Masala (chickpeas)
- Dahi (home made yoghurt)
- Naan
- Rice
- Achaar (home made pickle)
