Hi Everyone:
So far we are all tent camping, but they do also have RV sites available and youll need to check the website below for rates and reservations.
Tent sites do not have electric or water and are $10 per night per person. Enclosed bathrooms (toilets) are available. Showers are enclosed from the knee up! And I guess depending on your height, your head might be visible :-)
This is still a work in progress, but this is what we have put together so far:
Friday:
Arrive and set up.
Dinner - Potluck dinner.
I'm sure we'll be discussing the float trip for the next day and decide what time to leave and how long of a trip, etc.
Saturday:
Breakfast - Own your own or shared, as you please.
Lunch: We'll stop on plenty of sandbars on the float trip, so this will include eating lunch. Be sure to bring whatever food and drink, sunscreen, or anything else you need for yourself. Kayak/canoe is $40 per person and includes the shuttle. Tubing is less but no dogs on tubes.
Dinner - Grilling on the campfire, so bring whatever meat you want to grill, as well as your own sides/drinks etc.
After dinner, we'll pay games and make smores!
Sunday:
Breakfast - TBD if this will be a shared food event or not.
After breakfast, hang out, walk/talk, pay volleyball (if anyone brings a ball), pack up and go home.
Please note that all food will be on your own or bring some to participate if a shared meal, so no money required. BUT we will have to buy firewood, which is about $10 per bundle, I think.
It looks like a good time, and if you can't join us this time, maybe next.
The more the merrier but a small group is fun too!
